    Yes, can be hit and miss with freight on big items. A few years ago I found the Safari snorkels made in Australia were cheaper exUK by approx $200.00 AUD per snorkel despite it having been freighted from Australia to UK and then back...

    If not in a hurry, and with a bit of pre-planning, maybe sea travel will become more of an option/prevalent for such items? (Especially for group buys?)

    I also note that on some occasions in the world before COVID, sea intended items have been airfreighted anyway.

    A quick google search with that JAK part number shows TR Spares has them listed(ie. in Aus, and in stock) for $425 at the moment.

    I've heard of them(TR Spares) but dunno nothing about them.
    There are probably other local sources too, didn't look into them.
