Slight knocking noise on front end

    Hi all,

New to this forum so Hello!

Just bought myself a TD5 D2, love it so far!

Only issues is, I’ve got a slight knock coming from the front of the car when coming down from a speed bump and slowing down coming to traffic lights, just a slight noise.

Just thought I’d ask see if anyone can point me in a direction where to start, any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks

    Josh!

    Welcome to the forum.
With ACE? I'd be doing a visual on all the bushes.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

    This.
panhard rod bushes wear out rather quickly, shocker rubbers.
Nuts/bolts can come loose easily too, if careless work has been effected by lazy types ... etc. etc.

Quick and easy(and maybe dirty) check I would do is to get under car up front, and either bounce car yourself, or if too hard get a helper to bounce it up and down a bit.
Induce the noise if possible and try to 'estimate' roughly where it's coming from.

And don't forget the simple stuff too. Is the battery properly secured. Don't laugh can happen. SO many bits that can come loose(or not properly secured after some other work) .. can cause these small irritations.
    Arthur.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!
