    Unrelated Electrical Issues.

I have a Disco that suddenly requires locking and unlocking to start the engine. Also the HVAC unit has to be turned on each time. And the Nanocom will not boot up. The Nanocom boots up on a USB at home.
No radio or clock, same fuse I know, and I have replaced the fuse. Tomorrow I plan to go to the local RepcoSupercheapAutobarn franchise and buy some fuses, just in case.
What fuse supply's the data port?

This may have started after the cigar lighter fuse blew, due to a dodgy USB charger unit. Or maybe not!!.

I may also need to buy a TC LED as boy did that get a work out over the weekend!!

I have just unlocked the car. The internal lights do not go on. When I lock the car, the red dash light flashes very fast.

    I am a Wally!

I have just had a look at fuse 20, it is half in and out. The left hand blade in in the right hand socket. A dumb error. Every thing is working properly now.
I think that the radio installer has used the radio memory supply to power the radio, hence the radio not working when the fuse was not in properly. As well as all the other bits.

I wish all my automotive issues were "dumb errors", they're economical rectifications.

Yes I concur. I no longer go to Toolangi as it costs too much to fix up the car afterwards.
