AlliSport metal header tank disco 2 v8

    hi,
has anyone purchased one of these recently or in the past. Need to replace my plastic due to cracks.
Looks like i have to source direct from UK unless someone here knows someone in Oz who has one to sell.
    Love to hear your thoughts

I sourced mine direct. Be aware the fancy cap is short-lived and you'll be replacing it with a common or garden, industrial variety.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Yes, they seem to have made the fancy alloy cap an optional extra; don't pay the extra twenty-eight quid, stick with the reliable, ugly cap.
I got the version with the low level alarm, it's well worth considering.

What pressure cap does a Td5 need?

    Hi
To be honest I don't know. Allisport have just told me they use the Defender Td5 cap anyway.
How long ago did you get yours. I don't think they have the hose connector into the cap stem now.

A bit over a year. That hose is the pressure release.

    TD5 Coolant tanks

Hi, Do the Coolant Tanks fitted to the TD5 Discos suffer from cracking, as those fitted to the V8 powered Discos?
