Bagpipingandy is one
As a part of my project to bring my D2 back to life I am considering reinstating the SLS. I really regret removing it in the first place, but I was sick of returning to the car and finding it on it's bump stops, and I didn't know about forums back then.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I can get the springs from Mario, and I'll find the 2" spacers somewhere, but I have two questions:
Can someone remind me of the person who does compressor kits? Mine is still there, but it has done nothing for ten years.
And, is it possible to use the remote from the higher end models on my car?
I know I'll need a Nanocom to switch it back on.
TIA

Make sure you extend the air inlet from behind the LH tail light I think, to inside the vehicle to keep dust and water from entering the compressor.
And only use Genuine or OEM air springs which are Contitech.

rebuilt mine a few years back using " bagpipingandy " works well. while doing rebuild i fitted isolating valves and "t" pieces to the rear airlines. ran extra lines to back bumper. "in theory " if compressor dies , i can isolate it and fill airbags from bumper fittings. haven't had to use it yet , touch wood :-))) pete .
