Melbourne- where to take TD5 exhaust manifold for skimming?

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a machinist to skim my TD5 exhaust manifold?

Usual leaks from ports 1 and 5 after ~ 12 years and 180 K km so has been a good run from the last time!

    Cheers

In Camberwell and happy to go up to 45 mins.

Got a quote today for ~$80 from a machinist in Rowville who seems to have good online reviews.

Good... any of the engine re-conditioners / re-builders or performance workshops will have the knowledge and equipment to do the job. Do not be shy going out of your comfort zone to the ‘street car’ / drag car specialists - they’ll welcome the variety.
