    CDL 02 discovery 2

    is there a way to tell off your VIN or some other way to tell if your discovery has the transfer case with the CDL?

    You have to reach with your hand from under the vehicle to the top of the transfer box and feel if it has the spigot pointed with red or not, though being from 2002 it's quite unlikely to have it: Center diff lock D2 TD5 | LandyZone - Land Rover Forum

    Yeah, I have a 02 D2 and it is pretty easy to climb under and feel that there is disappointedly nothing there.
