    Todays odd D2 behaviour.

So today I went unlock my D2a using the key fob and the car did not unlock. I did notice the interior light did come on though. Tried a second key, same issue.
I then unlocked my car using the physical key which set off the car alarm, pressing the button on the key fob stopped the alarm.
I then shut the door and the key fob would not lock the door.
So I turned the key to the second position and the car gave three dongs, not the normal three dings, but dongs. Never heard them before. And where the P/D/R would normally be displayed, it looked like all three were on at once, and flashing. Photo attached.
I then started the car with no issue. Ran the car though the different transmission position and the display didn't change. Checked the nanocom and the position switches all changed correctly. Also no errors were posted on any computer.
So I did a lap of the block and the car drove fine except the blinkers/hazards didnt work. Pulled up and turned it all off. Turned it back on same issues.
Got out of the car, and it locked with the key fob. Unlocked with the key fob. And no dongs, transmission position reports correct, and the blinkers work.

Now it has been raining, so that may have something to do with it. The top of my windscreen used to leak but it was fix a while ago. But I cant guarantee there isn't some water on the back of the fuse box which may caused a computer to have a brain fart.
I thought maybe a low voltage battery but the car started fast and hard first go and I didnt get any computer errors which usually come with such a situation.

Anyone have an idea what may have happened?

    Display

My understanding of this on the display is a disparity between the odo and bcu, matching them with the nanocom will clear. As to the remote locking, just changed my fuse box under the dash panel and it cured the remote locking (though seems the actuators are dead - they at least try now) air con / fans front and rear, interior lights and sunroofs.

There were definite visible markings on the fuse box to indicate water ingress (along with silicon from the previous owner over the top corner of the windscreen lol). turns out you can use both V8 and TD5 fuse box from the same series, D2 OR D2a - the only difference I noted was an extra relay on the left side and one fuse (do have all the options though). Tight to pull out and reinstall the harnesses. Frustrated by a brown one which turned out fitted into another harness spot but was smaller so was a novice mistake! See the pics, as this is done almost blind was a frustration as had assumed no harness would fit another, especially when they were both the same colour!!!!!!
