    ABS extensions

Yo, what’s every one doing for ABS extensions? what cable are you splicing with or does someone make extenders ?

I have fitted my HEL +4" brake lines and I was out in the paddocks today testing it with the sway bars removed, fronts look good both ABS and brake lines, plenty of slack.

Rear, little disappointed I was expecting to be at least 1" more in the brake lines, don’t really seem fit for a big lift. But the biggest issue is the ABS cable, lucky I stopped where I did as it was tight.

I bought a set of these a long way back.
SlickRock Fabrication Disco2 ABS Extension Kit (ABS)
They were considerably cheaper back then.
Also I only used the rears and on-sold the other 2 to recoup a lot of my outlay.

Unless your rear shocks don't extend as much as mine ? when I checked the ABS cable it was tight, brake lines ok still some curve in it. About 680mm travel. Extending out on the side that doesnt bind up on the watts link.

Yeah I got Bilstein 7100 shocks so they limit it and have cranked watts so no issues with binding

So, I took a gamble on these from eBay that came up as WABCO truck ABS extension cables. I recall a video on YouTube from Trailerfitter's Toolbox, who does many disco videos where he said the abs cables were the same as trucks he works on.

They look about right from memory. I will try to fit them tomorrow.
