It has been a busy time. along with the scheduled fluid and filter changes, there have been a few exciting moments.

September Stainless steel, Teflon lined longer brake lines and new front rotors.

Camo seat covers.

Diff guards, front and rear. I had to go to Rova Range, as I couldn’t get the top bolt in.

Fitted a reversing camera.

October, engine running rough. It could be the injector seals or the fuel pump. The parts for the injector seals are cheaper, but it does mean removing the injectors.
The fuel pump is more expensive but a lot easier to do.
I bought a fuel pressure test kit. The pressure was 0Bar. No fuel getting to the engine. I have bought a VDO pump. Just the pump, not the entire unit. It was fun swapping over the pump. But at $274.00 vs $500 odd, a bargain.

January, On a trip in Toolangi State Forest. Broke the passenger rear view mirror. Luckily, I had a spare. Bent the rear part of the exhaust through 180o. Broke the LHS fog/reverse light. Slight crease on the passenger door. Reverse camera stopped working.
On a subsequent trip I broke the screen on the Nanocom. No more Toolangi trips for me. I cannot afford to replace stuff!

Leak from the FPR. I bought a crows foot socket and tightened it up to 6Nm yes the same pipe that I disconnected to fit the fuel pressure test kit. The same pipe that came loose on a trip to the high country

April. The coolant had a hissy fit and left the car. Thankfully, my son pulled over as soon as the red light came on. He topped up the coolant with water and continued home at 80 kph, along the freeway from Lara. I spent $70 on coolant to find a hole in the oil cooler pipe! The pipe is blanked off.
Autobarn at Altona North gave me a piece of 19mm ID hose free of charge. That was nice of them.

May
Today I removed the mud terrains and put on the all terrains, aka highway tyres. The fridge and drawers were also removed. The coolant was dumped, about 75% water and 25% concentrate. The cooling system was flushed with Penrite radiator flush. New coolant at the correct mix was put in. This took all afternoon.

I buggered a wheel nut. I cross threaded it and know it will not go on straight. I think I need a new one as I don't think that this can be fixed.
New wheel nut bought and installed.

I have bought another rear view camera and a TPMS. Not yet fitted.

I also replaced the rocker cover gasket, the front bore hole seal and the rocker cover sealing washers. This time I bought genuine. I hope that these last longer than 8 months for the ‘OEM’

Front driver’s side tyre has crack in the side wall. Possibly due to young son going too fast on a corner and hitting a kerb. He was pleased that the new tyre cost $140.00

20th June Car won’t start. As the battery came with the car, in August 2015 it has lasted well. No idea how old the battery is. The battery has been replaced. I have put some lead sheet between the battery post and the terminal. A bit of very gentle hammering encouraged the lead to deform to fit. The terminal no longer spins around.

The TMPS has been installed.

I have bought a rear door ladder, and a rear step. Yet to be installed.
