correction i meant it looked similar to the ayg3339 isuzu in length

I've just finished putting the R380 from my Disco 2 Td5 back together after rebuilding it and was about to fit a new release bearing which I got from Mario. However, this is very different from the old one as the photo shows.release bearings.jpgThe one on the left is the old one and the one on the right is the one I got from Mario. It's a standard R380 release bearing FTC5200G which is what I ordered.
Mario tells me the old one is from an Isuzu/LT95 combination but what it was doing there I don't know. I was told that a heavy duty clutch kit was fitted not long before I got the vehicle 45,000km ago but have no way of checking this. My question is: given the difference in heights of the two, will fitting the new one cause any problems with the length of the throw?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mario, I'd been looking at the differences. It does look the same length and I'd like to know the length of AYG3339. The thing I've got looks fully machined and has no part no on it. See pics 2.jpg1.jpg
Thinking about it, if I use the original it would require a longer to compensate for the shorter bearing housing and I don't really want to get into that. If I could be sure of the length I'd buy AYG3339. If I can't figure it out then the old one will have to back in. It was a bit noisy but not worryingly so.

Just done a bit more research on heavy duty clutches. The bearing looks the same as the bearing that comes with the Britpart, Paddock Spares and Bearmach heavy duty kits. Doesn't seem as though the bearing can be bought separately so I guess the old one is going back in.

bearmach do a H/duty ,I dont have one to compare but i think i's going to be the same length as the std FTC5200 not longer like yours . if yours is longer, surely the clutch must release quicker than standard?

unless its a aftermarket LOF one, but I haven't got the length on them. may be previous the owner put a LOF clutch in?

Unfortunately, I have no idea which clutch kit was fitted but, having trawled through the interwebs, there's a few HD kits that seem to have the long bearing that I have, in particular the Britpart. Anyway, I can't find one in Oz and the box has to go back in next Friday so I'll go with the old bearing. The only reason for wanting to replace it was that it was a bit noisy but not worryingly so.
Thanks again for all your input Mario.
