That filter is on the output side of the injectors.

The mesh tube is input side. Sorry!

Thanks, actually got up early this morning and ordered one (it hurt, really hurt to pay out for it) but when looking at where I might be getting fuel from in the future i.e. country servos, jerry cans etc. decided it was an insurance that should be incorporated.

Don't think I would have if I was tootling around the city to be honest. It sort of reminds of the old adage never run your fuel tank low as all the crap at the bottom of the tank will block your lines, yet the fuel is drawn from the bottom of the tank, not the top.

Now to get practice at taking a FPR out with manifold in place. This was changed with the engine out and was easy, at least the cooler is not in place yet.

Make a couple of guides out of shanked bolts with heads cut off.

    Makes sliding everything on easy!

.... they simplfy the FPR install greatly - only need 2 guide pins - slide on the gasket first and then the FPR block - replace one guide pin with a bolt and then move onto do the other one - it's as good as having a 3 hands

The FPR has a filter on it, very fine mesh too, wondered then would if it fit with the filter, hard push and it did. Think I will forget getting the filter in head and buy myself 4 slabs of beer. Thanks all for your inputs.

Check Island 4x4 in the UK. Part No; MAE 100 010. 55 quid, so about A$100 + freight.

By the way, finally got the quote on this for freight, if you can call it freight on about 10 grams of metal - 26 GBP, yep $50 Aus dollars for a letter, Think they may have been the same company wanting a similar amount on 8 clips for the SLS airbags, but that may have been 11 grams - when will I learn....
