    Throttle response modification.

Has anybody tried one? There are numerous brands, some offering to customise to suit (probably changing plugs). My Td5 has major lag issues, compounding the known turbo and torque converter shortfalls.

On a serious note. I had a throttle controller on my RG Colorado........ holy Santa Claus ****! Night and day difference. Car was actually un-driveable on the highest setting

    Throttle response modification.

On a TD5 the map is easily modified to ramp quicker.

Is your NNN ecu? And tuned?

Never experienced the lag on the TD5 auto, I’d be checking that your wastegate is fully functional including the modulator.

My nephew sells these things, not SAAS, but they don't and it appears SAAS don't have a TD5 version going by the link. He has one in the Ranger which he loves to play with, still cant increase performance just make it easier to access...

Basics first, check injector bump stop clearance and crank/cam timing with the pins in case you got some chain stretch over time.

You can save your stock tune with your nanocom and bump the stock MAP sensor range a bit higher and your wastegate modulator to 21 psi with the info freely available at DiscoTD5.com | Discovery 2 Td5 ECU Tech and Tuning

Is the modulator solenoid valve working correctly?

Easy to check with a tee piece on the waste gate actuator branching off to a boost gauge.
you'll see the PWM output from the ecu doing it's thing.
