    Expansion tank Question

I am looking at getting an expansion tank from Allisport On there web site they are asking if I need the the extra outlet pipe. (See pic)

Now my plastic tank has this. This runs a pipe to the EGR cooler. As I am removing the cooler I don't see any need for this extra fitting on the expansion tank.

As the tank is coming from the UK I need to get the purchase right first go.

So I am just seeking other opinions to make sure I have this right and have not missed something.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I don't think you've missed anything but if you got the one with that outlet you could always just blank it off.

That did cross my mind, but it is just one less thing to have to keep an eye on with out it.
