Let that "Inj type" thing untouched, insert all 5 codes, write settings then exit the whole menu with the red X, turn ignition off, wait 60 seconds, turn ign on and see then if they were saved or not
I know there is a lot of info on this topic, on the net and here, which I have spent a lot of time reading.
I still can't get my head around how to do this, using Nanocom
I even managed to successfully do this back in 2016 when I put new injectors in.
Below is a link to the thread that got it sorted back then. Tried this and it did not work.
I have just finished installing a new second hand engine which I replaced the copper seals and recorded the injector codes numbers at the time.
I cannot for the life of me get Nanocom to save my changes. When on Nanocom if I hit the "INJ TYPE" button I get three different injector codes for the same injectors
I delete the original 5 letters in the boxes that have just letters and replace with the letters of my injector. I then go to the next page and click "write settings to ECU".
When I exit and come back the old injector codes are still there.
Does anyone have the simple answer as to how this is done?
