Raising an older post on D1 STC1435 ignition assembly.
Has anyone had luck extracting the lock clylinder itself to re-key to the original door key and avoid having to carry two keys around. Swapping the original cylinder in or getting only the ignition cylinder re-keyed professionally seems better than having to get all the doors done.
I have a new STC1435 but cannot find any access points to get the cylinder out. Looks like its pressed in there.
