    Missing Vacuum Line?

Just spent the last half hour trying to find a vacuum line on the V8. I replaced the upper inlet manifold gasket, taking the opportunity to replace the spark plug leads at the same time, but cannot locate a supposed vacuum line going to the manifold. I've attached a mention of it from RAVE, but have no idea where it is supposed to go to from the manifold. The diagram is a bit misleading as the actual connection is only 5mm OD.

I'm wondering if it was actually a capped pipe, but if someone could confirm, or otherwise advise where it should be connected, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    John

No, I have the brake servo line connected - it's shown as connection 24 in the diagram I included above. The connection I'm confused about is highlighted as Item 26 in the diagram, and is located below the brake servo line connection.

IMO that 26 port should be connected to the vacuum reservoir which is fitted only on modells with SAI

    Cool, thanks for that.
That makes sense, I'll cap it with confidence. I must have dislodged the original cover for that port when removing the manifold, thus leading to my confusion.

    Cheers,
    John
