No D2 but I got a V8 101, a 3.5 engine in the back shed, a 4.6 block in the back shed, a 3.9 engine in the garage, and 4.0 crank, pistons and conrods in the garage and a couple of thor manifolds - does that make me a V8 friend? Oh - I do have a couple of D2 seats under the house.

    Ooh, I've an early 3.5 D1, a late 3.9 D1 and a 3.9V8 Series, but only a Td5 D2. NSW too.

With high fuel prices since Russia went crazy, I'm betting most V8's are a little quieter at the moment.

Just got a D2 V8 - about to brave the rain and cold and change diff and engine oils. Then I have to figure out how to do the transfer case and transmission oils as next job.

Will post up as get things done and help with questions!

More than half the cars/4WD's that I have owned have been V8's
Unfortunately I found the 4l Rover V8 in my D2a to be the most problomatic/unreliable of ALL the V8's I have owned/own.
