Hello All, I finally got to this job today.
I spent a bit of time grinding, shaping and sharpening an old multitool attachment so it looked kinda like this:

Took about 10 min to gently cut most of the sealant, stopping to apply lube every 20sec or so.
The corners had a lot of sealant I couldn't reach with the multi tool, so a brand new craft knife with a long flexi blade did the trick, but took ages.
Cleaned up the glass pane with a sharp blade and now ready for fitting.
I'm happy to use any product, but Sikaflex seems to have a good range....none mention use of a primer though so I'll look more into it.
I know I don't need the rubber finishing skirt around the window, but has anyone had success ever replacing them?
Cheers
Ralph
