I don't think you'll have a problem with either, both good quality items.
I need a new universal joint for the rear prop shaft. There are two options GKN or Hardy Spicer. Which one is the better one? Which one will last longer? Bearing in mind that money is no object when it comes to Old Leaky! (Him of FPR fame) One costs $35 the other is $70. They could come out of the same factory in China for all I know.
Which one do I get?

Steer clear of GKN cos i've seen cases when they didnt fit well in the front propshaft so might be risky for the rear too

I'll go in opposition to Sierra .. I recently fitted GKNs. Much better quality than the supposed 'heavy duty' uni joints I fitted about 30K klms ago to the front prop. Two had a mil or two of play, the diff end was fine, and the cardan joint bearing was fine too .. but all replaced.
No probs with fitting.
