Thread: D2 m&s lights staring but wonÂ’t run

Help please brains trust
My D2 2002 td5 auto is currently at the mechanic

it has 325km rebuilt motor, gearbox and TC
Returning home it went into limp mode with m&s flashing then wouldn’t start the next morning, did the usual battery check,xyz switch,fuses etc then put it on a truck to Jordan Rovertech

I spoke with them today and they can’t work out what’s wrong, after trying a new transmission ecu xyz switch it will start but not run ?

it’s being sitting for a while, the battery was charged and it ran for 50+ km before this happened
it’s had a new alternator recently,fuel regulator rebuilt,egr delete MAF cleaned, power steering pump and hoses replaced,inter cooler hoses.
any suggestions please

The only relevant thing is the fault code associated with those M+S lights... that would point in the right direction otherwise it's a guessing game
