    disco 2 limp mode issue

    Hey all
Our 2001 td5 disco 2 has been going into limp mode frequently recently after all the heavy rain we've been getting in Vic.
Never had it go into limp mode this much before so I'm thinking it might be something more serious.
The transmission is a reconditioned one and we've been told by a mechanic in the past that there's oil in the wiring loom. I've also read somewhere that condensation from the a/c can leak into the wiring loom. Though I wasn't using the a/c so I'm guessing maybe water from the road got into it?
Any help is much appreciated, cheers

Ac drain leaks onto xyz switch if it hasn’t been lengthened apparently.
Oil in wiring harness is usually in ecu plug the red one.

It's most likely that your starting battery is on the way out, if it drops to 9 volts as you are starting, it will trigger these lights. Easy to check with a multimeter though as you try and start.
