Thread: Bought the old girl back

After many years wishing I had not sold my 2003 disco, I was finally able to purchase it back from a friend with great plans of refurbishing it and using it as a local and beach runaround. I had not set eyes on it for a few years and was horrified when inspecting it. It has been sitting for a while and looks like it was parked up after a beach run without been hosed out. In my opinion it's to far gone to do up, so I am going to wreck it. It's got some nice goodies such as extended roof rails, bull bar, warn winch and steel rear bar. It's a shame but I'm to old for a major job and I think I will make a few bob parting it out. I will list it on market place as soon as I get it here. Unfortunately, while it was running fine when it was parked up it now wont start, my mate been as drunk as an owl one night started to panic that someone was going to steal it, and staggered down and disabled it, not remembering what he did in the morning or since. Every thing works except the starter so it shouldn't be too hard to sort it as soon as I can get back over to his place.
