The plan is to lift both wheels up at the same time. I have extended brake lines. No spring compressors, but a couple of ratchet straps will be good to hold the spring in the more closed position! Good idea.
Yes chock the wheels, lock the centre diff, hand brake on.
When you say both wheels .. each side or each axle?
If each side .. don't bother with the handbrake.. it's totally ineffective at anything when vehicle is lifted fully from one side.
If each axle(ie front or rear) .. of course handbrake works fine when CDL locked.
I can't recall that you have axle diff locks fitted, but if you did, then handbrake would work if you had each axle diff lock locked too.
I'd worry about using those small cheapo ratchet straps on compressed springs too. Not that it will snap them .. but very high chance they may.
Springs do have a very strong force stored in them.
If you have std type springs(ie. not aftermarket long travel something-or-other types) and they don't really come out easily, you can use the cars jack to force the axle down a bit more against the chassis/body.
Note that worst case scenario if your springs don't come out easily is that you could release the trailing arm bolt at the front and let the axle drop even further again.
Then you'd use a jack to lift the axle to the right spot to get the bolt and bush lined up again to refit.
Today was to be the day! I connected the Schrader valve with the 6mm press fit to 6mm tube, connected that to a 6mm to 4mm press fit reducer and that 4mm to the air bag and pumped them up. Well pumped one of them up. One of the Schrader 6mm push fit did not work! However all connections and air springs held air , pressurised up to 60psi. Just waiting for a new part to arrive.
