Thread: D1 steering wheel into a D2?

Hi all,

I've got an 01 D2, with damaged horn buttons/generally dishevelled steering wheel. I've got access to a scrapped D1 with a much nicer steering wheel, is this ok to swap across? Would there be an issue with airbags etc?

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think they are a straight swap type compatible.

Maybe some parts are the same(eg. horn buttons and so forth) but IIRC splines and indicator canceling mechanisms are different between the two.
