    236KK 2002 D2 got a real roadworthy today.

I have been taking my D2 for the last few years to a friendly workshop who did a cursory annual inspection for NSW registration.
Expecting the same I rolled up today expecting 10 minutes and away.
    I was wrong.
The bloke was completely thorough checking among other things ball joints, steering joints, headlight aim, oil leaks!, suspension, reflectivity of window tint, and actually did a real brake test. along with the usual lights, indicators tyres. He spent about 1/2 hour including hoist raise to check under and mini raise to use a crow bar to test ball joints. for once he earned his $43.
AND THE OLD GIRL PASSED EVERY TEST!!!!!!!
Apparently they were fined and cancelled a while ago for not doing the full test and mended their ways, much to my dismay.
I am happy that my maintenance is correct and no uglies raised their head, however I was ****ting bricks there for a while.
    Regards PhilipA

Pity my OKA hadn't been taken to that shop.... It passed its NSW test less than 6 months before a Vic tester presented me with two full pages of faults, some serious...
