    ACE

Is the hose from the reservoir to the pump, Land Rover specific?
I got 20mm to replace the swollen and kinked hose on the car, it's tight on the reservoir while falling onto the pump. I don't feel confident that whilst I've tightened up the pump end, it will be leakproof.

The Td5 one appeared to be shaped. At least it is the low pressure return pipe. It might be worth getting the part for peace of mind.

I doubt that transport would get it here ex Melbourne, in time for departure next Saturday.
The new, straight hose will have to surfice, with two clamps on the pump end it doesn't leak.

From the reservoir to the pump inlet you can use any hose you want which fits and can accept oil and the engine bay's temperature, no pressure in it, i've got home from 1000 km with a piece of garden hose when mine failed far from home. Just protect it with a piece of thicker rubber where it touches the sump...hence that foam protection on te original
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
