    Rear hub

Hi all I have a Leak between the hub and diff housing changed the o ring twice no joy the hub is quite and the last time I pulled the hub and axel I couldn't see any damage to the hub. It is just a drip at the bottom of the hub and diff housing any thoughts would be great.
    Thanks Phil

Either that or an unusual one. Mine have never leaked. At about 295k I had all of my hubs replaced after a front one failed and still no leaks at 299k.
    Cheers

Are you 100% sure it is leaking from the "O" ring? My experience with these is that it is the seals in the bearings that fail.

You need to replace the complete bearing/hub assembly.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Check the drain tube to not be clogged cos if pressure builds up in there the oil finds the weakest point to leak
