If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
I have a Ross on mine. Had it for about 5 years now.
Dave.
I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
1983 RR gone (wish I kept it)
1996 TDI ES.
2003 TD5 HSE
1987 Isuzu County
I've just ordered a Ross one, so joining the crew with one very soon!
I have replaced about 15 Harmonic balancers for people so I know it’s a TTY bolt, I do have the tool also to put the correct depth for the timing case seal as well, many people don’t realise that the seal sits in a certain depth
The hub nut is 490nm which is decent but the 750nm W&B torque wrench makes light work of it
Thats a lot! Doing it for first time. I don't have a big torque wrench and hadn't found one, couldn't afford to buy one that does it and tried kennards hire to hire one. They didn't hsve one but awesome fellas there contacted a bus and truck repair place who have one and are going to help me out when the harmonic balancer arrives. They are absolute legends![]()
