    LOL!

What I did with one of mine, and relative easy to doas long as all pieces are there)

superglue all the pieces together(just to hold them).
One it's all together, flip it over and fibreglass it on the underside. As it's the underside it doesn't matter if it looks ugly.

Mine was cracked right in "zee middle" and I wasn't sure superglue and fibreglass would hold it strong enough, so I also added a couple of lengths of metal. Metal strips out of excess central locking kits. lots of holes for resin to bite into plastic and also just strong enough so it don't flex and break.

fibreglass I used was just a cheapo pack of glass mat and resin for bodge body working.

The only issue doing this, remembering that mine was clean cracked in the middle, was to maintain the curve during glassing and setting so it wasn't set in the wrong shape for fitment.

You've reminded me, I have a bumper repair kit here somewhere. Glass mat and all....

Mine is only cracked, hear one of the bonnet hinges, so a repair of this nature would be fine.

I bought an entire Disco 2 donor car for less than they are asking for these (No, it didn't have one).

Mine has no pollen filter. I guess I could just use the stuff they put in central heating intake filters.

The TD5 also doesn't have filter, and use to amass dead leaves like a typical posh eastern suburb in Melb in autumn!
I was going mad trying to pull them out of the squirrel cage what seemed like every other day.

I got a free piece of pool filter, coarse enough not to restrict flow, but enough to stop most larger stuff dropping down. Big piece over the inlet.
I also used strips of it to replace the small strips on the D1's 'plenum' vents into the heater inlet too.

Other thing I did was to 'dam' the heater inlet area with some self adhesive rubber/foam strip too. Estimated how high it needed to be to not get crushed too much by the plenum when refitted.
Reason for this was to stop water leaking down into the heater inlet.
Used to get a lot of water getting in when parked up and then downpour, which we'd had many in Melb over the past few years.
I think the stuff is a kind of weather strip, self adhesive, about 2 inch wide, and maybe 3mm thick, so easy to manipulate ... from Bunniings. I can't remember why I got it, but worked nice for stopping the water into the vent.

Handy tip before the plenum is reinstalled.

If we get a few donor plenums, some one could use these to make a mould and then make these. Sadly not in my skill set.

Not in mine either. There was a mob making them in fibreglass once. Here. Might keep an eye on that site. Even shipped it would be 25% of the cost of a genuine one. And probably far more durable.

Edit: Emailed the company. Awaiting reply.

Asked if they might be getting some in, and if they would ship to here. Answer I got was "We are temporarily out of stock", which was helpfull, as this is what it says on the website.

What sort of coin are we looking at?
To offer John's supplier, a little encouragement, with volume.

They ask US$175, plus shipping. OEM ones are a kidney. For now I am not going to worry. It's not that bad and I have bigger fish.....
