ACE ram

can anyone advise a reputable Australian rebuilder of the hydraulic rams used in the ACE system. im told genuine new ones are no longer available

also does anyone have any comment on suitable fluid ....i plan to drain. flush and refill'. my local penrite dealer tells me they no longer have the fluid they made some years ago

I see plenty of places still selling Penrite PAS Fluid which is what they say is suitable for the ACE system.

Yes Penrite PAS or the ATF being Castrol Transmax Z.

Not worth rebuilding the old ram in my opinion at this age - I had my front ram replaced with a quality aftermarket one by local indie.

That stuff is great in the auto as well. Never shifted so smooth.

No but I’ll try and find the receipt and will be able to take a pic of the ram on Tuesday when I get the D2 back as my son has it till then!

I am using the Castrol Transmax Z in the PS and ACE with no problems whatsoever.
