mystery parts - where do they go?

Hi all, I am on the tail end of major refurbishment project on my D2 and now preparing for re-assembly by going thru a "stocktake" of hoses / new parts / gaskets / O rings etc and in the process came across 2 mystery parts packed together in an unlabled ziplock bag. They were included in one of the many parts purchases I made pre covid, but they have become separated from the associated item.

Does anyone recognize the 2 items in the pic (an O ring and a lip seal for some sort of shaft) and were would they belong?

    cheers onebob

The only way to know for sure is to throw them out. Because then and only then will you actually need them.

anyway, my thoughts are the dust seal is from a clutch master cylinder type thing and the o'ring is an o'ring for something.
