Sure, nanocom reflects actual door state as they are, and changes accordingly, as it seems to get its signal from bcu which has the bypass wire from 733

however, when locking, which is successful, the open horn signal also still sounds with doors closed

also locking can still be achieved with a door open

Does that explain it any better, I am away tomorrow so can do any other testing on Sunday

if all the doors appear as closed and still get misslock warning the only part remained is the bonnet switch, unplug it and see then... it should lock if any door is opened other than the driver's, it's named "partial locking", it should not lock with driver's door open and if it does it's some BCU misbehaviour i dont know how to fix that

Had some time today to explore more and discovered that passenger was showing open, which was causing the issue on Friday, even though on Friday all were closed at times so disconnected front left, rear right and tailgate, still open, so thought must be rear left disconnected and it showed closed!! Sorted I thought as it locked all then with no open beep. But moments later, passenger was showing open again. So disconnected all actuators and still nanocom showing passenger open. I have checked all door and post wiring where if enters and exits. It is obviously a random issue, could it be bcu ?

It's possible to be a short to earth on that circuit too ,maybe at the same place where it was on the driver's side where the loom is common for all... the same kind of troubleshooting is needed, let the actuators all unplugged and check for earth in unplugged C0660 pin 4(purple/light green wire) ... if no earth then the BCU is suspect... if you get earth there that's the problem, they show closed for short time after a "reset" untill the BCU "realises" it's an earth there as it happened on the drivers side too few times with the short present. the only common point for all the doors wires is in header C0285 which is hard to access cos it's embeded into the harness

Checked out pin 4, and did have earth connection, I removed part of loom sleeve and made access to CO285, no obvious signs of any damage, sprayed with contact cleaner and checked all 6 of the purple/light green wires. Reconnected all actuators and rechecked system, all worked as it should, left it a while and checked with nanocom opening and closing on all passenger doors as it should. I left continuity tester connected to pin 4 and earth and it was indicating earth as each door was opening as if should, so still really a mystery but tested several times and working ok 👍

Maybe that short to earth got isolated when you jiggled the harness, if it comes back you'll have to rewire all that circuit too

Should I need to revisit, is 285 where the other doors connect to ?

If the short to earth comes back then you'l have to check at 285 uplugged on which wire it is and rewire that but let's hope it doesnt
