    TD5 Heat Shield Bolt Size

I was driving to work on Monday and the hose from the intercooler to the turbo blew off resulting in power loss.

While investigating how to fix it i noticed that the turbo heat shield is loose and missing the bolt that secures it to the turbo near the firewall.

Would anyone know what size/thread bolt it is so i can replace it??

Thread is 8mm. If original, bolt head will be 10 mm.

I have replaced the bolt on mine and I now have a 13 mm head.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
