It's probably touching on either the sump or the chassis, you can loosen the muffler bolts and turn the remaining system one way, then nip up the bolts and let it hang until the down pipe is not touching.
Tighten bolts when you've got it right

So changed out the down pipe and mid pipe for something a lil free flowing, disassembly went mostly straightforward and assembly a piece of cake!
but since changed those 2 sections of exhaust there is significantly more vibration but only when stopped and in drive/reverse. In park/neutral it vibes as much as it did prior to changing the exhaust. When the car is moving it’s at a similar level to being in park/neutral.
I’ve read a few posts on vibes/rattles and noises but they mostly talk about at specific rpm or speeds. This is at idle and only when in drive/reverse.
got some hanger rubbers coming to see if it’s that but while far from new didn’t look knackered.
engine mounts where changed late last year but prior to fitting the exhaust there was no excessive vibration. Will check transmission mounts as I can’t see anther on the service history.
would it be purely the reduction in mass by removing the stock muffler for a smaller/lighter one?
Cheers!
