    Remote Hz

    My remote died was wondering if this is a 315mhz or 433mhz the chip has a date on it 29/05/01 if that helps

    Most are 433mhz, only the early are 315mhz.

    The date on the chip is no use as it could have been a replacement for a 315mhz but manufactured in 01.

    I've got to start writing stuff down as I had this all worked out a few months ago... It's all gone now.

    SF will know... But the production date of the vehicle might be needed.

    I think all D2s are the higher frequency, the changeover was during the D1 model.

    Before 8/99 was 315, 433 after that. ( in Australia )

    The certain way to know on what frq is working is to get to the RF receiver and check the label on it, i dunno the australian specs, for european modells is simple, they are all 433 while they are all 315 for NAS
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
