Discovery 2 1999 v8 dual fuel lpg and petrol

1. Does anyone know what and where does this plug , plugs into?

Car drives fine no issue but this seems to left hanging on the side, back of the upper manifold.

we developed a bad oil leak from rear seal on the valley pan, my mechanic assumes that this unplugged might cause the leak.

we are guessing this is a pipe that is coming from a rear emissions canister, and it needs to be plugged somewhere on the manifold.

anyone?

The purge valve on the other side of the engine is intact so I am confused if we are missing something here on this side.




2.For last 10 years there is a hissing noise coming from ACE block under the car, every 12 seconds, my understanding that this due to a leak in ACE system, hoses or pipes.

The only leak I've noticed is on the ACE high pressure hose, the one that goes from the ACE pump on top of the engine to the pipe that goes under drivers side to the ACE .

could this be causing it? Leak is very small,


3. Are aftermarket valley pen seals any good or should I stick with genuine?
