Radio cage arrived and was screwed into the dash, was awkward enough with the dash out no chance of doing it in the car (right angle drill maybe). Side note Aerpro AMH9 is basically universal and converts radios from toyota/nissan screw into to slide and latch.

Getting the dash in was an exercise in now how did this fit where, definitely suggest two people. Would also explictly suggest having a t30 screw driver or atleast a long 1/4 hex one cos getting the steering wheel air bag attached was fun. Did also realise my disco has at some point lost it's passive immobilization coil as I had more connector's left over while attaching the steering column trim.

Heater core pipes did fine for a few test drives to/from work, I did forget to slide the rubber grommet for them up to the firewall but that's a job that requires more enthusiasm than currently available. Was so nice to finally get her moving and driving again, very much a change from my i30 (or works hilux).

Dropped into the windscreen mob and they put some more goop on where it hadn't sealed the first time around.

Spent the afternoon getting the roof lining back up, only managed to have lost two of the plastic fastener's so imho doing great there considering it's been 3 years and a house move. Got most of the remaining trim back in, very thankful for a couple of ebay seller's that had the lengths listed for some of the fasteners so I could get everything back in the right place. Decided I'm not going to put the jump seat's back in so have disconnected and cable tied the seat belt under the trim.

Next issue is I need to figure out my cargo window situation, when I replaced the rear quarter panel it didn't have a replacement window so I just bodged a bit of ACM held against some bits of pine. Which doesn't work so well if you'd like to put the trim on. New glass for there is ~$255 unfitted, keep looking at gullwings (emuwing or DIY) but annoyance is that it's the passenger side and I'd like it transparent. so will continue to ponder that one.

Strewth. Under those circumstances I'd be lucky to find the car!
