Not necessarily "one size fits all". All my tunes are bespoke.

But a bespoke tune designed to work with the particular hardware the owner has, should perform admirably across the board. The main exception to this are manual vehicles that tow a lot.

There are of course specific mods for certain situations, but I focus on "common rail diesel like driveability" across the board, but of course within the bounds of the technology we have in these engines.

So no variable cam timing, many are still using a stock or hybrid turbo, not VGT, and of course no ability to have 4 or 5 or 6 shots of fuel per stroke.

I just love TD5's they are great to work with and tune!

I've seen different options on who to get it done through and was after some advice on what people have experienced. Looking for cost vs performance vs customer service/retuning in future

    1) Josè at td5 inside
    2) alive tuning
    3) empire tuning
    4) storm tuning
    5) shack here on the forums

    Thanks in advance
I've tried a few over the years, both for myself and customers.

number 5 is at the very least, the equal of the others, sans the marketing.

Agreed, I have a tune by Shack, the manual TD5 drives like I think it should have from the factory.
