I am trying to record data, like ABS voltages. I get a few few seconds worth and then an error message. "Error unable to perform the function" If I try to look at live data, I get the same error message. How do I fix this?
TIA

When I tested my D2 a few days back, I didn't bother to log it, just watched it driving around the block, and I think only up to 20k/h or so.
Mine was that curious reading in that voltages on one pair was zero and the other pair were 2.something, and also the weird speeds, one pair at 1.7k/h and another pair at car speed.
My understanding is that with errors like that, I'd have ABS light on at the least .. but nothing. Car drives normally, and ABS works as I found out yesterday on a corrugated section of road under brakes. (was daydreaming and missed the turn).

Shack and Kaaaiju are on the money. Pretty sure the ECU or SLABS ECU shut comms off because they are "busy". Gotta remember that the D2 and P38 were LRs first foray into the world of 'tronics, and the diagnostic port thing was still in its infancy. Modern OBD can probably tell you what you had for breakfast last Thursday, but not the D2.
As James said, it ain't the Nanocom, it's the car. The Nanocom has a library of generic error messages it will trot out when necessary.
