Many moons ago an ex had this issue with her D2.
First time I saw a fuse box in one of these.............fifty something fuses. From memory they were all fine..
Was caused by poor earth to or through the trailer plug, i.e. power wire to horse float RHS brake light was good but the earth wasn't as good as it should have been.
More likely! .... he doesn't suffer the same level of 'brain fade' I may potentially endure!
D1 light replacement is 'supposedly' made quite easy ... supposed to be easier than the D2 variants .. remove the rear access hatch on trim, hand inside the pillar, twist the bulb holder ... totally tooless.
Not mine! Either I've lost 99% of any strength in my wrists, or someone superglued the bulb holders in the last time prior to my turn to get hot under the collar over them. All others easy peasy, as designed. Just the tailbrakes madenningly hard to remove. So had to pull it all apart, and everything is on the inside. Again should be easy .. but not mine.
In the end, I was so frustrated by them, I did accidentally 'brain fade' my way through their install
So, can you install them wrong .. yep .. can you break the glass getting them in and/or out ... for sure.
Arthur.
All these discos are giving me a heart attack!
