    tyres, what size ?

What size tyres can you go up to on a disco II with no lift, and alternatively what size can you go up to with a 2" spring lift ?
i am thinking of going to something like 265/75 r 16
i have SLS and need to get tyres soon, just not sure to get tyres and springs together or if springs can wait until the budget is more recovered from christmas

    Hi Mate
    Im running 235/85x16 MTRs,I have a 2" lift.Never touched anywhere with some tough off-roading.
If yours is a V8 they wont be a problem, with the TD5 they make it work hard on the highway due to the gearing change,I dont drive like a hoon so its not a huge problem to me.
I wouldnt go back to a smaller tyre.

    I have 265/70R16's installed.

At the moment, the suspension has sagged - its been 14 years!

However, besides the steering travel stops, I have no issues with rubbing at all!
