    D2 Rear Door Windows

Doing some work on the D2 the last couple of days and noticed that the electric windows on the rear doors only go down about 1/2 way. Have never used them before so haven't noticed if it's always been like this.

Is this normal for D2 - or do other's windows go all the way down. Doesn't really bother me as normally don't use them anyway - was just curious.

    Thanks............
    Cheers .........

Have a close look at the size of the glass and the shape of the rear door panel... Now think of how all that glass will fit in the door panel when it winds down.

Normal on a lot of vehicle's rear door windows including Disco 1 and 2.

    Yeah its normal.

Has anyone seen how a nissan stagea back windows wind down? it has a similar shaped rear door/glass and winds down half way, then the front keeps going down until the glass is all crooked. It looks broken, but isn't. Just an idea on a conversion.

Thanks for the replies. I did look at the size / shape of the glass and doors, but thought that the glass would go down a little bit further than it does. Can't remember how far it went down on the D1 - probably never used them either.

What got me thinking was that I had the console pulled apart to add a couple of extra switches for accessories in between the rear window switches - thought I might have stuffed something up.
