Replacing non flashable ECU with flashable in TD5 D2

Wondering if changing my non falshable ECU for a flashable one will give me any improvements on my pretty ordinary low down pick up.....plus perhaps help sort a few other minor issues out? Has anyone swapped old for new version and if so, any marked differences or comments? Mine is a '99 TD5 manual D2 with a BD remapped non falshable ecu, but even with the extra power, she still is a dog some days and I am convonced the accelarator has a mind of it's own and decides to rev when it sees fit and now when I decide it should

Anyway, any and all comments appreciated as always
