or try a gps firstSee how far the speedo was out before you changed anything.
Checked a gps against my sisters bmw a few weeks back and it was out 8k and was stock

As Outlaw says, use a GPS, even if you have to borrow one.
I discovered that our Discovery is correct up to 80, then goes haywire. Speedo reading at 100kph is actually 95 kph.
No wonder I never get booked for speeding

Hi Zute,
Do u plan on running bigger tyres?
At the moment i run 265/75/16 MTR's on my D2 & the speedo is out 10%.
So if i am running at 100Km/h i am actually doing 110Km/h & at 60Km/h i am actually doing 66Km/h.
I have the truespeed fitted as previuosly didnt have a GPS & the wife was driving the vehicle, i now have the GPS but the truespeed does help.
Especially after u have had the tyres for a while u just get in & drive.
Try Simon at 4x4intelligence.com.au they will most likely have one.
Hope this helps.
Cheers![]()
Mate as Sniegy said. I have one from 4x4intelligence and it arrived really quickly. They are easy to fit too...
Worth the money too...only takes one speeding ticket to regret buying one!

Oops didn't realise 4x4intelligence was an Aussie web site. thought it was UK.
Yep going bigger tyres and with standard, its right on the money. I would go the GPS option, but the wife drives it most of the time an not to technical.
Thanks all.
