Disco 2003 differences
Being new to this posting stuff i had a good response on the forum with my questions on trans adapter plates etc. Now I'm wondering if there is any known list of differences on the Disco 2.5 (as I call it). I have the 2003 4.0litre V8 which has many things different so far .e.g. you can't use the plug holes to access the bolts for the torque converter, the sump must be removed. That is awkward if the sump is supporting the engine as per the book!!Also the fan attachment nut is clockwise as opposed to earlier models.
This may be a tech. issue but it also applies to the D2 in general as i can't find any 2003 specific manuals or data. This means I've gone up many wrong avenues by using Rave and the pre-1999 manual.
Thanks to all who helped before.

My td5 disco was built 01/2004 and i also have the same problem, there seem to be heaps of differences & manuals are hard to get for the later model. i use a 1999 manual as i bought it when i had a td5 of that year, but have found it does not suit the later model in all areas.i have not chased around for a manual but a lra dealer may be a good start.if my memory is correct i think i got the 1999 one from lra & it was around $200/300.
