My Falcon ute with the 4 speed electronic auto. trans is the same.No dipstick. Undo the filler plug and stick your finger in to check the level. PIA!!!! Probably saves a couple of dollars in manufacture. My other gripe with autos is the disappearance of drain plugs over the last twenty years. I now routinely install one the first time I have the pan off for service.
