    Anyone know if 235/85 16s fit on a standard d2 with ACE/SLS?

    Thanks

Well I don't have ACE/SLS so I'm not sure if they normally ride lower, but...

I'd have thought the diameter of a 235/85 would be pretty close to 265/75 (approx 31" tyre) which is what I'm running, had them on before the lift and don't recall any hassles but didn't off road it in that time though.
I'm sure someone who knows the calculations can tell you!
    Cheers

    235/85 = 32 inch
    255/85 = 33 inch
    265/75 - 32 inch (closer to 32 inch than 31 inch)

They will fit a D2 with a bullbar. They will present a lot better with a 2' lift also. I'm not sure, but I also think that they need the 7" rim, not the 8".

Thanks for the replies, I havent got the rims yet, Just out of interest why 7' rims and not the 8's.. The lift is something on the list of 'to dos' but the airbags are in great nick and are great for towing.. Just looking at having a spare set of muddies for playing in the wet stuff.

Its just that most 235/85-16's are specified that they are to be mounted on 5.5/6" - 7" rims. 265/75-16 tyres on the other hand can be mounted onto 7" or 8" rims and are the same diameter.
    Cheers
