    d2a dash cluster in d2

is this doable? both for a straight fit-up(seems likely) and legally(odometre)

If you swap a dash, the odometer wont correllate with teh figures stored in the BCU or whatever it is, and it will always flash a fault that shows it has been tampered with.

I'm not sure about the fascia or the analogue dials though.

yeah i mean just the dials area. the d2a dash looks a lot newer and nicer for me. i'm hoping that the lcd screen just receives the info from the bcu and its not somehow actually stored in a small chip thats part of it(the cluster)

I've just done some reading on it.

You can change the odometer etc, though you will need to use testbook to retrieve the odo reading so the correct reading can be reprogrammed back into the odometer.

The other thing which was interesting, is that you cant lay the instruments face down otherwise the fluid will leak out of them.
