    g'day all,
my dearest had the misfortune of reversing into someone the other day and ripped the bumper off the d2.
has anyone replaced thiers with a steel type as a oe replacement is +$700 just for the part and another couple of hundred for fitting.
as i am planning on going through insurance thought maybe there are better replacements out there although not planning kaymar type as too exxy.
    appreciate your thoughts.
    cheers

I bought a 2nd hand one for $400 bucks from British Spares in Sydney, very good nick, no marks at all, took half an hour to swap over, it's easy to do if you can find one.

    cheers,

    Ray

If you are planning to go through your insurance you might as well get a good steel one. A new plastic one will cost as much.

Check out 4x4Discovery.com.au - "think outside ...". They used to do a light and heavy duty bar. I think they have just redesigned it too...

Yup! It's not a bad looking bar either.
